FGSR Banner Workflow Demo

Introduction New project to automate graduate student requests using Banner Workflow. Objective: to electronically share documents between FGSR and the faculties/departments/units involved and to automate the flow of reviews and approvals for various processes as well as to send automatic notifications where applicable. Phase I of the project: Requests to Transfer; Program Extension; Voluntary Withdrawal; Leave of Absence; Program Changes and Progress Reports.

FGSR Staff FGSR Staff have a few steps upon receiving a students request: Banner Updates Select a Letter Template Proof the Letter Template and Complete the Workflow

Upon completion of the workflow and e-mail will be sent to the student Upon completion of the workflow and e-mail will be sent to the student. They can then log in to Self Service and view the status of their request and a letter pertaining to their request. 20
