Economics Honors Program Honors Students are eligible to be employed by the department as tutors for ECON 101 & 102 All Honors students in satisfactory standing are automatically awarded a $2,000 award, whether they are full or part-time. Students in the Honors program have access to a study lounge on the 8th floor of the Tory building.

Arts Work Experience

Arts Work Experience Gain paid, full-time professional work experience before you graduate! Flexible work terms for students beginning in September, January or May 4, 8, 12, or 16 month work terms (completing 12 or 16 months of work experience will result in receiving a notation on your degree parchment!) Fees for Excel courses with the UofA Technology Training Center: Economics Majors pay $50 instead of $200 (per course, up to two courses). Ask Instructors of ECON 299 or 399 how to get the discount. The center releases certificates (CV building)
