Los Altos Robotics FLL Local Competition - Novmeber 19, 2005 I made this version by Competition Round and Judging Schedule – for each of these, I opened the LosAltosFLL2005ScoreSheet_Version2p11.xls file, selected the text, and then pasted it in to the PowerPoint file. I then selected all of the text and used the “text smaller button on the formatting menu bar to reduce the text size. After which, I resized the table to make it smaller. Eventually, the tables were small enough to properly fit on the page. For the event schedule, I dropped the LocalComp_EventAnnouncements_v05p2.doc Word file on the slide and the right thing happened. Very nice. For the scoring table part, I created the “Team Score” sheet in the LosAltosFLL2005ScoreSheet_Version2p11.xls file and saved the file with this sheet showing, used the Insert/Object/from file option to select this file, and finished it off by doing a little cropping from the “right click format object” tool.
