Today, CHCs… Are the healthcare homes to more than 25 million, including 1.2 million homeless and 300,000 veterans Located in more than 10,000 communities Reduce healthcare costs, produce savings Integrate critical medical and social services, under one roof Employ nearly 190,000 people and generate more than $45 billion in total economic activity in some of the nation’s most distressed communities Serve on the front lines of many public health crises such as the Zika virus, AIDS and the opioid epidemic
