Easy, like an attachment. But can your doc stand on its own? Yes. Only teachers can upload files to course site. So definitely a push- tool. Maybe.

When the pupil becomes more secure, Stefan wants to start using a PPT he has created for his pupil. The pupil is new to the smartphone, and tends to use it for playing and less for the HANDS tool.

Stefan is able to do this when he is together with the pupil, but HANDS also offers a way to directly measure the pupils use of the HANDS tool on the mobile. On CoMe Stefan can hence directly see how much his pupil use the HANDS tool, and also which of the tools in the toolbox he is using most. Stefan can use this to encourage his pupil to use the tools he likes most, and to offer more support and talk about how to use the other tools. Stefan has to consider the ethical considerations of looking over the shoulder on the pupils use of the HANDS tools carefully. How to use this knowledge is clearly independant for each pupil. Solution

He has to make a report to show him all actions in the pupils HANDS usage. Therefore he push the button Add report. Step (1)

Fields can be used to select what Stefan want to see: Time, tool and person. Stefan choose no time period, which means he will get everything without time limits. Stefan choose Tool action not defined, since this will give him all the actions from all tools. And finally Stefan choose a pupil – and select the relevant pupil among all Stefans pupils. Finally Stefan push Add to save the report Step (2)

Pressing Run makes the report look into the database, sort all registrered data according to Stefans report selections, and show him all data that match his report. In this case all actions his pupil has performed with the HANDS tools since he got the smartphone. Stefan use the report to see that his pupil has tried to use an SSSI several times, but has paused and restarted several times. He can now approach the pupil and ask why that SSSI was difficult – and hopefully adapt it to better suit his pupil Step (3)

Use this to adapt the a new tool to each pupil. Remember always: One for each. Likewise reports can be used to compare pupils against each other. That way a teacher can see what tools are used by a pupil that has good value of HANDS, and compare that usage to other pupils that may be lacking to get the same value from the tools. Teachers can only see data from their own pupils, but teachers can easily discuss and compare through the Export log report to PDF.
