The question is . . .how can you make sure that your presentations are not a painful or boring experience for the audience?
Here are a few tips to help you improve the quality of your presentations:
1. Keep it short and simple: Plan on each slide being on the screen for no more than 2 – 3 minutes (one slide for each topic).
2. Be consistent. Use a similar design and color scheme – with no more than 2 or 3 font styles throughout the presentation.
3. Don’t go overboard: Use animation and slide transitions for emphasis only.
4.Practice, practice, practice. . . until you get the timing right.
