Managing a Profile Initialize your profile Verify/Edit Personal information Biographical Information, Positions, Languages, Degrees, Clinical Interests, etc. Integrate with ResearcherID www.researcherid.com Integrate with an existing/start new RID profile Researchers with existing RID accounts can have their Research In View account pre-populated with their RID publication data. Researchers can also opt to synchronize their RID and Research In View data and profiles. You can decline RID integration and join later
Managing Activities -- Publications and Recommendations Searching for publications Journal Articles via ScienceWire (Web of Science and Medline. All citation activity comes from WoS.) Books and book chapters (Library of Congress) Patents (USPTO) Manage Recommendations Adding publications to a profile will activate ScienceWire recommendations Recommendations based on fuzzy logic algorithm looking at authorship, keywords, co-authorship, etc. Recommendations will need to be accepted to become part of your publication list
Managing Other Activities Activity types should be the same as OSUPro Teaching Courses taught, advising and mentoring Creative Works Works of art, Performances, etc. Funding Add manually or via search of NIH, DOE, DOD, NSF, USDA online resources Service Advising student groups, Service on university committees, etc. Narratives Focus of work, Civic engagement, Curriculum development, etc
Managing Documents Dossier Report Template mirrors Dossier report currently available in OSU:PRO. New templates can be created for other standard reports (CV, Grant Applications, etc.)
Proxy Access Allows you to manage profiles for faculty users Existing proxy relationships are carried over from OSU:PRO Additional faculty can request that you manage their profile via the “My Account” area

Step 2: Enter Preferred Personal Information
Step 3: Integrate with ResearcherID
Step 4: Search for Journal Articles
Step 5: Search with name, initials, and article title words Step 6: Select your articles and click Finish
Step 7: Confirm type of review for each selected article
Step 8: Manage Recommendations
