1. Approval of agenda The steering committee approved the agenda.

2. Approval of draft minutes from 2016 The steering committee approved the draft minutes.

3. CBC Terms of Reference The steering committee approved the Terms of Reference and gave the CBC leadership the mandate to agree a template for the Terms of Reference for the work stream leaders.

4. SAI Performance Measurement Framework a. Report by SAI PMF Independent Advisory Group b.Report on SAI PMF Progress c. Draft SAI PMF Communications Strategy d. Draft SAI PMF Annual Plan The steering committee welcomed the SAI PMF to the CBC family, took note of the reports, and approved the SAI PMF Communications Strategy with changes proposed. The Steering Committee also approved the SAI PMF Annual Plan with the proposed changes.

5. Additional reports from CBC work streams a. Subcommittee on cooperative audits (SAI Peru) The steering committee took note of the report and thanked the subcommittee for their work.

5. Additional reports from CBC work streams g. CBC Guidance (SAI UK) The steering committee encouraged further comments on the draft guide by 31 October and agreed to approve the guide by e-mail. Also encourged contributions of case studies to the guide on audit impact

6. CBC website The steering committee encouraged further contributions and use by the members and took note of the report.

7. CBC Report to PFAC and 70th Governing Board The steering committee takes note of the information.

8. Venue and proposed dates for the next meeting The steering committee took note of the information.

9. Any other business The steering committee took note of the resolutions from the theme discussions, which were distributed during the meeting.
