Galatians 6:14 NKJV “God forbid that I should boast save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.”

It is not about us! 1 Cor 1:23 “We preach Christ crucified” 1 Cor 2:2 “I resolved to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.”

I will not boast in my pedigree! “God forbid that I should boast” I will not boast in my pedigree!

Philippians 3:4-7 “If anyone thinks he has reason for confidence in the flesh, I have more: circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee; as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to righteousness under the law, blameless. But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ.”

I will not boast in my possessions! James 5:1-5 “Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver have corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure in the last days. Behold, the wages of the laborers . . . , which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you . . . and have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts. You have lived on the earth in luxury and self-indulgence.”

I will not boast in my past! In accomplishments or successes! Everyone begins with big dreams and big plans! Matthew 20:20-28 James and John’s request

“If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.” I’ve had more failures than successes 2 Corinthians 11:30 “If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.”

I will not boast in my party! 1 Corinthians 1:12 What I mean is that each one of you says, “I follow Paul,” or “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.”

I will boast in my pedigree! Galatians 3:26-29 “You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

I will boast in my possessions! 1 Corinthians 3:21-23 “Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come—all are yours. And you are Christ’s and Christ is God’s.”

I will boast in my past! Colossians 3:21-23 “In Him (Christ) you were circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God . . . And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive . . . , having forgiven you all trespasses.”

I will boast in my party! 1 Peter 2:9 “you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

God desires that you be saved Jesus desire that you be saved We do too
