These may be formal or informal — yet intentional; individual, small or large group events. We Picture: All the elements of a cultivating event plus: A fun activity with a relevant biblical message. Believers telling their stories of what God means to them — one to two testimonies. A sensitivity to addressing non-Christians’ misunderstandings about Christ.

TYPES OUTREACH EVENTS 3. Reaping Events We Picture: Events designed to clearly and concisely present Christ while facilitating the opportunity for our people to share the Good News with their non-Christian friends. Small or large group gatherings, these events are typically formal — inviting our friends knowing the focus of the event. We Picture: Everything from a cultivating and planting event, plus: A fun activity, done with excellence, that includes a clear message about Christ. A multifaceted presentation of the good news — video, music, testimony, teaching, drama, etc. A sensitivity to lost people, yet a boldness in proclaiming the Gospel Interaction opportunities designed to foster friend-to-friend conversations and peer evangelism.
