Ratify Purpose: Approve previous action taken (typically when a quorum is not present) Can approve or disapprove actions taken (ratify or censure). Salient Pts. Y,Y,Y,M “I move to ratify the action taken by…”

Modify or Withdraw a Motion Purpose: To change or eliminate a motion Can only be initiated by the person who moved the motion. Salient Pts. N,N,N,N or M or Unan. Consent. Before Debate: “I wish to modify/withdraw the motion to…” After Debate: “I ask permission to…”
