Welcome to YAC Chat. Today, we’d like to take a moment to talk to ALL of our states about what’s going on at national YAC. We will be hitting on the Awards, Legislative Conference and the leadership Institute. But, a few house keeping notes first. This session will be recorded for future feedback. We encourage the use of the questions feature in the go to meeting dashboard, we will answer questions throughout the session We also encourage the use of the chat tool– discussion is welcome.

Now I’d like to introduce our Big “I” president and CEO Bob Rusbuldt, who will make a few remarks this morning. During his time at IIABA, Rusbuldt earned recognition as one of the leading lobbyists on tax, banking, insurance and financial services issues in Washington, D.C. The Washington Post, The Hill and Roll Call all have named Rusbuldt as one of the “hot,” top lobbyists in Washington. Thank you Bob for taking the time to join us this morning.

This is why we are here. We will be hosting these large group calls quarterly to help us meet our charge.

We’ve spent a lot of time trying to make the best of the awards - Recognize your efforts but also help you use it as a tool to grow and build your YAC

Each year we attract the best of the best to the Big “I” Young Agents Leadership Institute national conference held in conjunction with the Big “I” Fall Leadership Conference. The annual event is designed for agents, those in volunteer leadership position and state association staff. We provide take a ways to help you in your agency, association and leadership ranks.
