What is LIFE SCIENCE? The study of living things or organisms. Organisms may be plant, animal, fungus or microbe. Another name for life science is Biology.

Some of the Branches of Life Science Molecular Biology: the study of chemicals in cells Ecology: the study of the environment. Physiology: the study of structure and function.

BIG IDEAS IN LIFE SCIENCE ORGANISMS ARE DIVERSE BUT HAVE MANY SIMILARITIES. GROUPS OF ORGANISMS CHANGE OVER TIME THE STRUCTURE AND FUNCTION OF ORGANISMS ARE COMPLIMENTARY OGANISMS OPERATE ON THE SAME PHYSICAL PRINCIPLES AS THE REST OF THE NATURAL WORLD
