Why Use Ba-Da-Bing? To add depth to your writing When you don’t know what else to add to your paper To make your writing more interesting To get better grades and pass STAAR

The First Step Find a boring sentence in your paper, then use Ba-Da-Bing to make it better!

Format = BA – DA – BING!! Action Sense Thought or Comment + +

Example #1 Action Sense Thought When I went into the kitchen, I saw my mom at the stove, and thought, “Mmmm, Chili!”

Example #2 Action Sense Thought I walked into the kitchen and saw my mother holding a skateboard, and I thought, “Hey! Is that for me?”
