OFFICIAL/FORMAL & UNWRITTEN RULES Official/Formal rules: These types of rules are “LAWS OF THE GAME”, you are not correctly involved in an activity unless they are being followed. Unwritten Rules: This type of rule tends to be related more towards conduct, behaviour and general sporting etiquette such as: Shaking hands at the end of play or putting a ball out of play for an injured opponent to receive treatment.
