Mr. Isham’s Classroom Expectations

Mr. Isham’s Class Motto? Respect your TEACHER, YOURSELF and your PEERS at all times.

ALWAYS, Be RESPECTFUL! If I am speaking, then you’re NOT. Same goes for one of your peers. If I am speaking, then you’re in your seat LISTENING. (Not up throwing away trash or sharpening your pencil.) Same goes for one of your peers. You’re encouraged to disagree, but do it RESPECTFULLY.

“The Silent 10” The first 10 minutes of class is to be in silence. Students should come into the room respectfully, have a seat, and start work silently on the Daily Bell Ringer.

“10/10 Bathroom Policy” Students will NOT ask to go to the bathroom the first or last 10 minutes of class or when Mr. Isham is delivering instruction.

Check the Absent Binder. Check the online classroom. What if your “Absent”? Check the Absent Binder. Check the online classroom. Check with your shoulder partner. Still have questions? Check with Mr. Isham

Mr. Isham’s Electronics policy. Unless Mr. Isham has given you PERMISSION, cell phones should be turned off and stored in the cell phone caddy the entire class period.

Mr. Isham’s “Gum Rule” It’s simple, NO GUM! And here’s why!

What does being prepared mean in Mr. Isham’s Class? Something to write with (pencil or pen). EVERYDAY Something to write on (notebook paper). EVERYDAY Something to read (AR book). EVERYDAY

ALWAYS do your own work in and out of Mr. Isham’s class! Academic Integrity Academic Dishonesty What does academic dishonesty look like?

Questions?
