Mutual Fund Industry Facts After 5 continuous month of setting new ‘All-time High’, the Mutual Fund Industry AUM came in at 16.46 tn, a mere 36.74bn less than previous months 16.50tn.
Mutual Fund Industry Facts Barring a few, AUM fell across categories as outflows combined with negative run-in in the equities market weighed on the values. All the categories has seen inflows in month of dec’16 barring Debt funds (Income+Gilt). Income Fund category saw a outflow of 331.82 bn, a level last seen in Dec’10, as waning hopes of rate cut weighed on sentiments. While Gilt Fund category also saw a outflow of 11.9 bn as against inflows of 8.9 bn in the previous month.
