Japan attacks Pearl Harbor Facing a stalemate in China, Japan turns its attention to the United States and attacks Pearl Harbor

End of the war for Japan With a stalemate in China, and US troops advancing rapidly on Japan, things were not looking good August 6, 1945, the US dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima
