Perhaps you aren’t thinking about College Maybe you want to go to a trade school? Join the military? Go to PCC? Go to work right away? These are all great options, but as I have learned myself….. @$&#^$ Happens!

Trade School or Beauty School Do you know how much these cost? It’s insane! You definitely want to be prepared with scholarship and financial aid, and…..

What if you Hate it??? Would it be easy to switch to another career or school? Would you have your references and resume ready to go for another path?

Military You plan on serving your country. We couldn’t be more proud (and worried)!

What if you can’t get in? Perhaps there is a medical reason. Perhaps you can’t get the job you want so you don’t want to join. Or What if you Decide you would rather start as an Officer instead of enlisted? Would you be ready to switch gears and apply for college? Would you know how ROTC works? Would you know what schools and majors you should apply to?

Go To Work You’re sick of education. You need a break and an opportunity to earn some money.

What if you are in a job you like, but don’t have a way to move up without Education? Do you have all of your letters of references from school that you can use to apply to programs, or are you going to have to come back to Century and hope your teachers remember you? Do you know how to build a strong resume? Do you know to apply to PCC, or whatever program you need and how to find that information?

I am already planning on College! Great!

But, are you prepared? Do you know what college you want to go to? Do you know how much it’s going to REALLY cost? Do you know about financial aid? Scholarships? Does it even have your major?

No, My Goal is not to bum you out. I DO want you to realize that the future is always shifting, changing, as are you and your dreams and desires.
