Oedipus Anticipation Guide

Anticipation Guide: Choose a response for each of the following statements and explain your answer. Then choose one statement with which you strongly agree OR disagree and explain your reasoning in a well developed paragraph (8-10 sentences). Strongly Agree Agree Disagree Strongly Disagree 1. It is possible to escape or trick fate. If we truly know ourselves, nothing bad will ever happen to us. 3. We should not attempt to justify our actions, good or bad. 4. Family secrets are best kept as just that- secrets. 5. If you are in charge, you are allowed to be exempt from consequences. 6. We should engage ourselves in bettering our community, even if it is ourselves that we must change. 7. Society answers the sins of the parents on the heads of the children. There is more than one way to see. 9. It is better to place blame on those around us than to look inside ourselves.
