What is “Iterative” Webster: repetition PM: A process for arriving at a decision or a desired result by repeating rounds of analysis or a cycle of operations. The objective is to bring the desired decision or result closer to discovery with each repetition

Back to Scrum One of the most implemented agile frameworks. Originally created for software, but it works well for any complex, innovative scope of work. Prioritize the work that matters most and breaks it down into manageable chunks. When the project ends, it ensures that the most valuable work has been completed first.

Where’s it from? First used by Hirotaka Takeuchi and Ikujiro Nonaka in their ground-breaking 1986 paper “The New New Product Development Game“. Takeuchi and Nonaka compare high-performing, cross- functional teams to the scrum formation used by Rugby teams. Jeff Sutherland created the scrum process in 1993, he borrowed the term "scrum" from the analogy put forth by Takeuchi and Nonaka. Outstanding performance is achieved when teams are small and self-organizing units of people and are fed with objectives, not with executable tasks. Teams can only achieve greatness when given room to devise their own tactics to best head towards the shared objectives.
