Why You Should Read and/or Watch Harry Potter Sumaiyah Khan 2nd Hour November 2017

Introduction Do you want to enter a world full of magic? A world where wonderous creatures, witches, and wizards exist? Well, the Harry Potter series is just the right thing for you!

In my opinion, Harry Potter is an amazing series created by an amazing mind. It takes you to places buried deep in your imagination. It builds up emotions in you that you most likely have never felt. Opinion Statement

Counter Argument While I believe that the Harry Potter is an outstanding piece of art, some may think that it’s just a plain story about a boy with a magic stick. Some may also say that Twilight is better.

Background Information Harry Potter is a series of fantasy novels written by the amazing British author J. K. Rowling. The novels chronicle the life of a young wizard, Harry Potter, and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main story arc concerns Harry's struggle against Lord Voldemort, an evil wizard who intends to become immortal, overthrow the wizard governing body known as the Ministry of Magic, and conquer all wizards and muggles (non-magic folk).

Reason 1: The Feelsss This series is well-known for its tendency to cause a sudden pang in the heart. Whether it’s because of deaths or a simple touching moment, Harry Potter will definitely make you shed a tear or two, and it’s never a bad cry.

Reason 2: The Diverseness of the World J. K. Rowling did a splendid job of literally creating her own world – from the creatures to even the sports.

Reason 3: There’s So Much More To It You may think this series is merely about Harry Potter himself, but there’s so much more to it. You can insert yourself in here as whoever you want. Despite this being centered around Gryffindors, you can look past that to enjoy the series more.

Reason 4: Inspirations Galore Harry Potter does definitely inspire us all – it makes something inside us click. It shows us to always be the better person.
