1 Birth Doorstep Delivery: With the death of Harry’s parents at the hands of Voldemort, he is delivered to the Dursleys for protection until his 11th birthday.
2 Call to Adventure Letters from No One: Harry is called to adventure by the millions of letters inviting him to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
3 Helpers / Amulet Keeper of the Keys: Harry receives aide from Hagrid, his protector and guide, in the form of his owl, Hedwig.
Crossing the Threshold 4 Platform 9 ¾: Harry must literally cross the threshold into the world of adventure by entering Platform 9 ¾.
5 Tests The Tests: Everything from the escape Mountain Troll, to the Quidditch Tournament, to the House Cup is part of the test which Harry must endure.
6 Helpers Through the Trapdoor: Without the help of Hermione and Ron, Harry would never be able to reach the chamber where the Philosopher’s Stone is hidden.
7 Climax / Final Battle The Man with Two Faces: Harry comes face-to-face with Lord Voldemort, a battle ensues and Voldemort is defeated.
The Philosopher’s Stone: 8 Flight The Philosopher’s Stone: Having defeated Voldemort and retrieved the PS, Harry falls unconscious, only to be rescued by his friends.
9 Return The House Cup: HP & the PS does not really have a true Return. After defeating Voldemort, Harry is rewarded with the House Cup this happens before he begins his departure back to the real world.
10 Elixer The Photo Album: Hagrid gives Harry the album with the picture of his parents. This was Harry’s desire all along, to have a connection to them, and it’s why he was able to take the Philosopher’s Stone freely (it was not his true desire).
11 Home Not Really Going Home: The school year is over and it is time for Harry to return to the real world, to life with the Dursleys.
