All About Dolphins introduction This book is called All About Dolphins. What do you know about dolphins? Let’s see what else we can learn about dolphins. Look inside the back cover. This is a glossary. It tells you the meanings of some of the words in the book. Pg. 2-3: How do dolphins breathe? They breathe through a hole called a blowhole. Clap and say blowhole. Pg. 4-5: What do dolphins use to swim? They use their flippers and their fins. Find flippers. Run your finger under it and say it. Pg. 6-7: What do the labels on the pictures tell you? A group of dolphins is a pod, and a baby dolphin is a calf. Pg. 14-15: Why does it say, “Good job, dolphins!”? Pg. 16: Why do you think these facts are called “Fun Facts”? Turn to the beginning and read to find out more about dolphins.
