Direct Secure Messaging Changing Your contact Email Welcome to the Direct Secure Messaging, or DSM, tutorial on how to change your contact email. Your contact email is the email address that you or your organization provided when your account was set up. The contact email is used to send you your initial login information, including you username and temporary password. The contact email is also the email in which you will receive notifications that you have received a message in your DSM mailbox, so it is important to keep this address up-to-date.
Go to the florida health information exchange’s website, www Go to the florida health information exchange’s website, www.florida-HIE.net and click the blue login button on the top right of your screen
Enter your username and password and click log in.
Select the “My Profile” tab (click) and then the change contact email option (click).
You will need to enter your password, and then your new contact email twice, and click change contact email
You will need to access the email you are currently using as your contact email to approve this request.
You will receive a message in your original contact email, once you open the message, click the approve change link.
The link will take you to the Florida HIE portal login where you will login with your username and password
Once logged in, you will receive a notice that your contact email has been successfully changed.
