What Does a Counselor Do? Helps students when they have scheduling questions, problems, or changes. Helps students work out problems with school, friends, or personal matters.

What Else Does a Counselor Do? Makes classroom presentations about things like positive behavior, staying healthy, & making good choices, and ways to stay organized

What does your locker look like?

Lockers Unpack your backpack when you arrive at school (backpacks are not allowed in class) *Suggestion: put the things you need to take home on the top shelf Take only what you need for 1 or 2 class Lockers are not very big – kids will not fit inside!! Ask your counselor if you need help keeping your locker organized!

Switching classes You can do a lot in 5 minutes!! You will have 5 minutes of “passing time” between your classes. You can do a lot in 5 minutes!!

If you have time left over, you can visit with your friends! GO VIKINGs!
