Does Walmart or Kroger brand hair spray affect plant growth the most?

Background The reason i picked this experiment is because i was doing my hair outside for a 4 day period.I noticed that the plants outside we dying more and more everyday so i asked myself was my hair spray doing this?Thats why i did my experiment about hair spray and plants so i can know if i shouldn’t do my hair outside anymore.

Hypothesis If i spray the hair spray on each plant then i predict that Walmarts hair spray will make the plat rot (shrink)the most.

Variables Independent-Different brands of hair spray Dependent-how much the plant rots(shrinks) Constants-amount of hair spray used (5 sprays) -Same kind of plant -Same size hair spray can

Procedure 1-Put hairspray by each of the plants 2-Spray first plant with 5 sprays of hairspray 3-Then set that plant aside 4-Observe and record 5-Repeat these steps again

Data Walmart brand Kroger brand Dollar tree 10 in tall 10 in tall 10 in tall 7 in 6 in 4 in

Conclusion 1.If i spray hair spray on each plant then i predict that walmarts hair spray will make the plant rot(shrink)the most.2.In this experiment first i put the different bottles of hair spray by each of the plants. Then i took the bottles of hair spray and sprayed the plants five times. Then i set the plants aside and observed and record what was happening with the plants.

Conclusion Then i repeated the steps again for the other two plants.3 Then after the experiment was done i observed that Krogers brand roted (shrink)the least and Dollar trees roted (shrink) the most.4 No my data did not support my hypothesis. It doesnt support it because i said Walmarts would rot most and Dollar trees did.

Conclusion 5.I learned that hair spray any kind or brand affects plants growth in many ways.It makes it decrease by 1 or maybe 10 but it still affects the plant in some way.6 The errors that accurded was not all the plants shrinked as much as i think they would.what i would do differently wouls be measure out how much hairspray i use next time and maybe use the same brand.
