Under the Content tab, click on the activity that needs revision. Double-click on the slide after which a new slide will be inserted. Click to Insert a Slide/Question. From the Category drop- down menu, select a style to apply to slides. Right click on the style. A window will appear with choices on how to apply the style. Make a selection. Click on Templates tab. Select a question template. Click and drag to the slide (screen). Type the question, answer choices, and add media, as needed. Remember to select/enter the correct answer choice from Answer drop-down.

H1.2: Attaching Standards Click on an activity to which learning standards will be assigned. Click on . The Standards window appears. From the Current Standards drop-down menu, identify the appropriate standards set for the activity. Scroll through the standards to select the correct one for the activity. Click Add. The selected standard appears in the Applied Standards section. Click Done. NOTE: More than one standard can be applied to any activity. Simply click Add for each standard.

In the Presentation drop-down menu, select Quandary. Click on Quandary Settings. The Quandary Configuration window appears. Enter the name of each topic. Each topic represents a category of questions. Enter the slide numbers related to each topic. Each slide represents a different dollar amount per category.

Check Use Teams from Participant Lists When Available to use pre-existing groups. Click OK to exit the Quandary Configuration window. Click OK to start the presentation. A window appears showing Team Member assignments according to remote. Click Categories 1 to start the game. The Quandary game board will appear. Proceed through the game play. Click Exit when done.

ReadySet Achieve Maximize Training Agenda 9/19/2018 Maximize I: Using Quandary Game I2: Creating Quandary Topics and Selecting Questions Click the Content tab. Click to add a new activity. Name the activity in Content Manager text field (i.e. Quandary Game). Click and open an activity that has questions / learning objectives to include in the game. While holding down the Ctrl key (keyboard), select five questions. They will all appear to be “highlighted.” Right-click and from the drop-down menu, select Copy Slide Set. Click on the new activity (Quandary Game). Click on the blank slide and right-click. Select Paste Slide Set. The selected slide sets appear.

Repeat the steps previously described to add four more sets of five questions. In the new Quandary Game activity, click on the (first) blank slide. Right-click and select Delete Slide Set from the drop-down menu. Click and proceed through the steps to set up a Quandary Game. 9/19/2018

In Connect, click on Programs and select Question Toolbar from the drop-down menu. The Question Toolbar appears in the upper left of the screen. The Presentation Setup also appears. Within Connect, click the Content tab. Click on the folder of Answer Keys for presentation. Click on the small arrow next to . Select Present Multiple Activities in Self-Paced Mode. The selected standard appears in the Applied Standards section (bottom) of the window. Click Done. Repeat the steps described to assign standards to additional questions. To view the attached standards, click . Select Assigned Standards from the drop- down menu. The Assigned Standards window appears with a list of all standards. Click to Save. ReadySet Achieve Maximize Training Agenda 9/19/2018 Maximize M: Using Connect without Response Tools In Connect, click Remotes. The Configuration Settings window will appear. Check/click on the box Do not use Qwizdom Remotes. The window will turn gray. Click OK. Click on Content tab. Click on an activity to open. Click on . Proceed through the presentation set up process. For the Save Results drop-down menu, select: None – will not save a results file. This is recommended for presenting with an anonymous list. Auto Save to Results Manager – saves a blank file for manual grading (ReadySet Achieve Advance P: Quick Mark Grading).

For students to show answer choice, they can hold up labeled/colored cards, record on paper, etc. Arrow through the presentation until all questions are shared. When the presentation is complete, a window appears reading The activity is complete. All questions have been viewed. Click OK. Before exiting the presentation, click and select Export – Presentation Markup File. This creates a file in Results Manager.
