The Reformation Elizabeth was the daughter of Henry VIII Henry changed the religion in England from Catholicism to Anglicanism (Protestantism) so he could have a divorce He called it The Church of England and put himself in charge

Religious Conflict After Henry died, political conflict emerged and a power struggle happened between his son and “Bloody Mary”, who incites violent uprisings England is in constant conflict between Catholic and Protestant forces It gets really bloody until Queen Elizabeth takes the throne
