Take RESPONSIBILITY for your life – TAKE CHARGE! Things we know…. Peer Pressure can influence us to do things that are often unwise and harmful. The “pressure” we feel comes from our victim mentality. We allow other persons, our peers, to control us. We may feel peer pressure to smoke, drink, do drugs, have sex, break rules, get pregnant, act mean, bully, drive recklessly, cheat, lie, or take unsafe risks. But the good news is that we can avoid feeling victimized by peer pressure. Take RESPONSIBILITY for your life – TAKE CHARGE! Resource: www.thecoolspot.gov
