Hard Work

Review Questions 1) How do you advance to the 10th grade? 2) How do you earn credit? 3) Why is attendance important? 4) What happens if you miss a lot of school? 5) How does performance in 9th grade classes impact college? 6) What does it mean by a fresh start?

Review Answers 1) Earn at least 6 credits (preferably all 8 credits) 2) By earning a passing grade in each class 3) Perform better in school, more opportunities, avoids loss of credit and/or legal trouble 4) Credit can be taken away (thus repeating the grade level), Possible legal issues 5) College acceptance decisions, financial aid 6) New opportunities, it’s a clean slate
