BIG school in a BIG city 16,000 undergrads—making us one of the nation’s largest urban private teaching universities. 9 schools and colleges—each one is like its own smaller community within BU. 13:1 student-to-faculty ratio. Applying When applying to Boston University, it's important to note the application deadline is January 1, and the early decision deadline is November 1. Scores for either the ACT or SAT test are due January 1. The application fee at Boston University is $75. It is more selective, with an acceptance rate of 49.4 percent. Accepts common application 1.
