Da cell theory By someone

Components of the Cell Theory Cells are made from pre existing cells All Living things are made up from one or more cells. Cells are the basic structure of everything.

Anton van Leeuwenhoek Anton made his own microscope and started observing many other things such as teeth. This helped him discover bacteria.

Robert Hooke Whilst studying physics and looking for a microscope, he named his observations ‘cells’ as they looked like cells monks would pray in. This is where the words cell originates from.

Matthias Schleiden He studied plants and found that they were all made of cells.
