What is underrepresentation? If they were to elect a leader, which race would most likely represent the population?
If this is a classroom…. If they elected a leader, what gender would represent the population best? There is accurate representation if… A female would be elected 80% of the time. There is underrepresentation if… A male would be elected a little more than 20% of the time.

Reflection Let’s think about it… if slightly more than half of the world’s population is made up of females (and it is), then shouldn’t slightly more than half of the world’s leaders be females at any given point in time?
