PI PROPOSALS APPROVAL PROCESS BY NTU-IACUC ARF-NIE ARF-SBS ARF=Animal Research Facility ARF-SBS users (PIs) submits their proposals to Mr. Kai (Manager ARF-SBS) Forward by email Dr. Frederic Chua (Vet engaged separately by ARF -SBS) & Dr. Peter Preiser and Dr. K.S. Chen (animal scientist) –their vetting and pre-approval Compile proposals by Mr. Kai and Submits to NTU-IACUC meeting ARF-NIE users (PIs) submit their proposals to Dr Diong ( ARF-NIE-staff- in- Charge) Forward by email Dr. Frederic Chua (Vet engaged separately by ARF -NIE) for pre-approval Rebecca Ho Head’s Secretary, Compiles/Files (Hard Copy) Proposals Assoc. Prof. Shirley Lim NSSE & Vice Chair IACUC NTU - IACUC ARF-SBS NTU-IACUC meeting (During the meeting-chair of the NTU-IACUC go through all the proposals with IACUC members & finalize the proposals that are approved/not approved) NTU-IACUC Secretary Approved – Issue Chair of IACUC Signed approval letter Not approved – Forward to respective PI and advise to re-submit with required amendments via proper channel
