Forseen tasks: Dutch Conceptual model.(similar to NIST) Selection criteria for standards and determine priorities Shortlist of relevant standards for the Netherlands Ensuring contribution on international standards (Based on comply or explain on int. standards and best practices) DSO’s and TSO are no competitors, we seek synergy Taskforce Intelligent Grids 20/9/18

Our ambitions for 2011 Support the Dutch SG platform on: Delivering a set of standards with core and high relevance for the Netherlands (incl. E-Govermental standards) Deliver a set of business issues which can be supported by those standards. Examples of data exchange: between gridoperator and regulator (CODATA) between TSO an DSO between DSO and Serviceproviders (= Project DURF digital exchange of revision data of grid components and topology) Delivering a set of selection-criteria for adopting standards Delivering a development-proces description that can be used by the dutch grid operators. 20/9/18

CIM Governance (3/4) The idea… National standardization committee TC 57 PIN Subject representative Organized knowledge Organized knowledge Companies 20/9/18

CIM Governance (4/4) Challenges to the PIN Group and to company standardization coordinators: How to unite the CIM (and other standards) knowledge in a kind of competence center? How do you organize that? How to ascertain that CIM interpretations are the same within all parts of the company / group of companies? How to organize business and IT stakeholders around the CIM? How do you prevent ‘islands’ to be formed? I would like to come back from Prague with a set of working (or best) practices. 20/9/18
