Activities and Plans Documentation 1999 Plans new documentation 9/20/2018 Activities and Plans Documentation new documentation ‘Policies for address space management in the Asia Pacific region’ web site enhanced - more ‘bandwidth friendly’ 1999 Plans review existing documentation seek member assistance for local language translations further web site development document revision process more details to come Reiew existing documentatioin two big projects would like to produce a procedures document. This will include a review of existing documentation and forms. Also plan to focus efforts of documentation relative to NIR’s.

Activities and Plans IPv6 1999 Plans RIR Allocation draft few comments received regionally, but many globally most common concern has been sub-TLA ‘slow start’ and renumbering 1999 Plans commence allocations from 1st April 1999 current discussions may delay start of service proposed fee structure includes IPv6 allocations

Note this is only new tickets and not ongoing requests. Compares with ripe with 5,000 tickets per 6 months 98

Staffing At end 1998 (3) 1 manager/senior hostmaster - Anne Lord 1 hostmaster - Fabrina Hossain 1 technical writer - Gerard Ross one temporary hostmaster loaned from the RIPE NCC (total 6 weeks)

Staffing By end 1999 (7) 3 new hostmasters 1 trainer 1 for confederation support 1 for new member support 1 existing members/IPv6 1 trainer
