It was founded in 2009 and while at the beginnign most of the work was done voluntarily we now have 21 people working for LIQD. We are an interdisciplinary team of project managers, administration, designer and developer. LIQD was founded in 2009 around the same time liquid feedback was developed. They come from a similar set of ideas but are not the same. Our goal is to find …. The main

“digital participation” made by LIQD Adhocracy (A3): collaborative toolset for discussions, working on texts, polls and rating open code/source, collaborative coding (GitHub) Developing adhocracy mostly in projects dealing with citizen and youth participation or participation in companies New: adhocracy platform with neutral design for a lot of different (smaller) towns and organisations Fostering democracy, direct participation and open discussion in society Open source, Trying to develop a sustainable software, that can be useful for as many projects as possible and can also be used longterm We try and listen to the needs of towns and organisation in the development, afer conference in Basel this year we Focus more on map based applications Platform for cheap processes

Goals and Guidelines democracy, collaboration and self-organisation: internal and in projects focus on users: few barriers, low-threshold, usability und Responsive-Design transparency: software and in processes responsible use of data We try to live what we preach Responsible use of data does not only mean data security but also the first step is to safe very few personal data. People need to register to avoid trolling but only with a name (which could be fake) and an emailadress
