Program Goals 1st To improve achievement in Science for students in 4th – 8th grades. 2nd To immerse teachers in on-going professional development. 3rd To strengthen and build capacity of Institutions of Higher Education (IHE) professors and the Ontario-Montclair Elementary School District (OMSD) community to fulfill integrated instruction and content needs in the field of science. 4th To increase the depth of science knowledge for teachers. 5th To build and support partnerships between OMSD and its parent community, San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SBCSS), Alliance for Education, University of California—Riverside (UCR), and local businesses.
