Procedures PowerPoint Mrs. Nolan 7th Grade Life Science

ABOUT ME This is my 6th year teaching. My hobbies include anything outdoors and sleeping. I LOVEEEEEEEE the Little Mermaid. I have a miniature Schnauzer named Ford. He is my pride and joy!

This is Ford!!!

Now for the boring stuff…. A procedure is the way that we do things. In this classroom, I have set procedures so that everything runs smoothly and efficiently

ENTRANCE You are to Enter the classroom at the ENTERANCE door ONLY! Go directly to your assigned seat. Get all necessary supplies and notebooks at the beginning of class. If you are in need of anything, you may borrow it from me, just ask! Complete the warm-up on the board, if there is one. If you are not in your seat by the time the bell rings, you are late!

TEACHER CONTACT Email: NolanK@fultonschools.org Website: KristinNolan.weebly.com Instagram: @mrs.nolanlifescience

DURING INSTRUCTION Listen to the teacher with full attention. No pencil sharpening, talking, or whispering. Ask permission to speak by raising your hand. Ask questions related to the subject. Other questions which are not related to the subject can be asked after instruction. After instruction, make sure you understand the concept. If not, ask questions by mentioning which part you didn’t understand.

DISMISSAL Clean your work area and take all garbage to the trash can. Wait for Mrs. Nolan to dismiss you. DO not assume that you can leave just because it is time. Listen for the bells. After you get permission to leave, push in your chair and leave quietly. Please leave the classroom through the EXIT door ONLY!

WHEN YOU ARE TARDY If we are in the middle of a lecture, try your best to pick up where we are. If we are working on an assignment please go to the front table and get it from the correct tray.

WHEN YOU ARE ABSENT Go to my website. Everything we do is on there, as well as any worksheets. I update it every 48 hours! If you missed a test because of your excused absence, inform Mrs. Nolan and arrange a time to make up the test after school. Most test make-ups will be done at the next available tutoring session. PLAN AHEAD!!

HELP SESSIONS I hold science help sessions on Fridays at 8:00 AM. If you are planning on attending a session, please have your parents email me to confirm that they can bring you. I don’t want to be here early and you not show up!

WORKING LUNCH If you are expected to attend a working lunch, you will be given a pass to come to my classroom from your lunch period. If you are assigned and do not show up, there will be consequences.
