Tier Reading will be everyday from 9:00-9:15 a.m. and Tier Math 1:00-1:20 p.m. on Wednesdays. If Mrs. Lavin does not feel your child is quite ready she will let me know. They can always move up throughout the course of the year. We will use DIBELS, MAP, and Math Fluency scores to determine our groupings. A special thank you to all who supported Ms. Inkelaar at her benefit dinner. They can re-take it on Friday to receive their candy. Spelling homework goes home on Tuesdays to be returned completed (with name). I will put the practice sheet on the back of the newsletter for extra practice. Colder Weather Ahead-please send a jacket to school everyday. Q1 Testing begins Oct. 10th-13th. Another copy of the testing items is attached for a final grade. Rosary Making with Mrs. Allen On Friday, Oct. 13th, Mrs. Therese Allen will help the Kndg. class make a large-beaded Rosary. She needs volunteers after our W.H. Rosary approx. 8:30 a.m. It is a wonderful tradition at St. James. We will meet in the Kndg. classroom. Please let me know a.s.a.p. if you can come help.
