Using RefWorks Searching EWU Libraries’ Online Catalog From Within RefWorks Eastern Washington University Libraries

There are two ways to search for your subject. 1 The first is by keyword, which will return the most hits. Enter your keywords. Click on the “Search” button. 2

The second way to search is by “Descriptor”, which will search subject headings for your keyword(s). Under Advanced Search, select “Descriptors” from the drop-down menu.

The third way to search is by “Title, Primary”, which will look only in the title of the book for your keyword(s). Enter your keyword(s). Click on the “Search” button.

2. Select the folder you want to references to go to. Check the items you want to import into RefWorks.

Click on the “OK” button.

After importing references, put them in a folder Click on “View Last Imported Folder”

1. Select “All in list.” 2. Click on the name of the folder.
