Lucian Staniak (1920-unknown) “The Red Spider” By: Moiz Sadiq and Sukh Gurung

Years Active He was a serial killer in Poland, did his killing from 1964-1967 His first victim was Danka Maciejowitz, age 17, murdered July 22, 1964 in Olystn. Danka had been raped and disemboweled. All his victims were girls young blonde females.

Early Life His parents and sister died in a car accident in Warsaw. The person responsible was a blonde female who was the driver She got off the charges so Lucian became obsessed with getting justice for the case. So he came up with a plan to kill young blonde women.

Serial Killer Info Lucian is an organized killer. He has high IQ Uses his own weapons to murder his victims (Ex. screwdrivers, spikes). Transient killer. General Profiling- Caucasian male, middle aged He used letters to tell the police where to find the dead bodies of his victims. He is called “The Red Spider” because in his letters he uses red ink and writes in a spidery font.
