R3 module production Precise and stable production of about 80-90 modules up to now (total ~700) some bad modules in the beginning of the production introduced ‘off-line’ corrections which are applied during assembly most of them shipped to Hamburg or Karlsruhe CMS TEC specifications

R6 and R5 module assembly R6 modules : we have determined the final ‘off-line’ corrections for one plate still checking the stability of these corrections expected to be ready for precise and stable production today !! making ourselves ready for the HPK sensors to arrive for test soon (change of sensor mask) R5N modules : we are almost ready with one plate final estimate of the pin positions this week we finalize the estimation of the ‘off-line’ corrections expected to be ready for some precise and stable production by next week !! R5S modules : to be finalized soon

Residual issues Gluing of 2D label on frames ?? we wait for a tool from Aachen to position this label with ~0.5mm precision We are installing a second back-up PC in case of sever accident can we already include the spare expansion card ?? used to be positioned here proposal to put it here (Aachen) (reduces the problem of overlapping legs during module mounting on petals) (different tool for each module type ??)

Summary R3 modules : If hybrids arrive we just continue the production… (1 plate) R6 modules : Ready (~) today for production (1 plate commissioned) Smaller details to deal with in order to make the production easier R5 modules : The work on R5N to be finalized (1 plate ready soon) More work needed for R5S (1 plate ready within few weeks) new technician arrived and being trained for the production
