How did the conquest of the Aztecs lead to conflict between the Europeans and Americans? The conquest lead to conflicts because the spanish killed so many people. The Spanish also stole goods, and treasures from the aztecs. That made the few of them left very mad. It also made europeans realize that the new world had desirable goods for the taking.

How did the conquest of the Aztecs effect the rest of the European nations economically? The conquest affected European nations economically by making them richer. Hernan Cortes and his conquistadors found many treasures such as gold, silver, jewels, and many priceless pieces of aztec art.Cortes received many gifts from the rulers of the aztec empire. The European trade of the new spices and foods from the Aztecs was also an economic boost.

What advantages did the Spain have over the Aztecs? The advantages Spain had over the Aztecs is that they were a more developed civilization. They had more advanced weapons such as guns. They were also immune to the disease to which the aztecs were not. This allowed the diseases brought by the spanish to infect and spread easily through the aztecs. They had domesticated animals, more food, supplies, and larger forces. Also the conquistadors were considered gods by the Spanish people. The Spanish people would do anything for the conquistadors. The Spanish had alliances with many other people that would come to help them if needed.

What role did disease play in the conquest of the Aztecs? Disease killed many Aztecs because they had no natural immunity to the diseases the Europeans brought with them. Because of this diseases spread rapidly, widely, and were more severe among the Aztec people. Entire villages were decimated. Due to reduced population sizes Europeans faced less resistance and were able to conquer even larger areas. Disease acted as a secret weapon and gave the Europeans carte blanche wherever they went in the new world.

What natural resources did Spain want from the Aztecs and why? The Europeans found many new crops in the New World like corn, peppers, beans, tomatoes, avocados, pumpkins, cacao (chocolate), vanilla, tobacco, and peanuts. Because these crops were new to them, the Spanish realized they could make a lot of wealth from selling them in Europe. In addition to these crops the Spanish also discovered precious stones and metals such as gold and silver. They took these back to Europe to sell as well.

How did the economic resources of the Aztecs lead to their fall? The economic resources of the Aztecs led to their fall because they had what the Spanish wanted, and the Spanish came after the Aztecs for it. The gold, silver, and jewels were highly desired by the Spanish. A lack of advanced weapons and domesticated animals made them vulnerable to defeat by a highly advanced civilizations.

What were the achievements of the Aztecs before European involvement? They were a Mesoamerican civilization known as the Aztecs. They settled in central Mexico in Tenochtitlan(also known as Mexico city). They developed an intricate social, political, religious, and commercial organization that brought many of the region’s city-states under their control by the 15th century. They were really good in agriculture. This allowed them to feed citizens and trade for other goods and services. Go to www.quizizz.com
