Autism Take 5 is run by parents and carers who support an individual or individuals with autism, with or without a diagnosis, in the Lanarkshire area. We are a friendly bunch who support each other in a safe environment, share ideas with one another and promote good practice. The Woolpack Knitting Club is an informal knitting club which meets every Tuesday afternoon in the North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre in Motherwell. It’s as much about the conversation and cake as it is about the knitting and you don’t need to know how to knit, as volunteers are on hand to help beginners and pass on their skills. There is a small charge of £2.50 for each club which includes refreshments & cake! Both clubs will be open to anyone who wants to come along, please contact the centre for more information.
