Homicide Investigation 10/21/15

911 Call At approximately 5:01 PM last evening (10/20/15), a body was found in the auditorium by Ms. Renee Stout, the assistant principal of Annapolis High School. Ms. Stout telephoned authorities at 5:37 PM who arrived at 5:45 PM. She left ten minutes after they arrived due to prior obligations. Authorities are still searching the crime scene for evidence and a murder weapon. The body has not been removed. The victim did have a photo ID, and it seems to be the pop star Taylor Swift. Swift’s representatives were contacted, and they are attempting to keep the media away from the scene. Ms. Stout provided a list of people she saw around the auditorium before she discovered the body.

Ms. Stout’s list of people seen around the auditorium between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM Ms. Stout (Caller) Ms. Van Sicklin Jeremy Allen Crysta Roach Rosey Pasco Sofia Coleman Jordan Massey Brooke Barnes Mr. Schaeffer Jack Morgan

1st Contact Each individual was contacted for an alibi. Phone calls began around 7:30 PM.

Ms. Stout Due to a script concern for The Force Snoozes: A Murder Mystery, Ms. Stout went to the auditorium to see if Ms. Lorenz or Mr. Parr were in the auditorium. Drama Company was rehearsing until 5:00 PM in Room 124, but she stated that they may have been looking for costumes. Once she arrived, the lights were out. She turned them on and saw an odd shape on the stage. She found the body and immediately called the authorities. Note: The 911 call was made at 5:37 PM.

Ms. Van Sicklin Ms. Van Sicklin told authorities that she was walking between her office and the cafeteria during 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM timeframe. She had seen The Murder Mystery cast leave Room 124 15 minutes early and Mr. Parr visited the chorus room at 4:50 PM. They talked outside of the classroom, and briefly discussed homecoming and a new PVA project. The project title is “Death of Culture: Pop Music”.

Jeremy Allen Jeremy had been waiting for his sister De’zjea (an actress in the murder mystery) outside of Mr. Parr’s room around 4:22 PM. He saw Ms. Van Sicklin quickly walk by with a towel. Jeremy inquired if she needed help. She ignored him. Jeremy took the PVA bus home.

Crysta Roach Crysta claimed she was in Room 173 with the rest of the visual artists. She mentioned that she may have left to use the restroom, but she didn’t remember. She is quoted saying, “I don’t remember every time I leave the classroom, especially during PVA. Are we finished here?” She was noticeably irritated and hung up with authorities.

Rosey Pasco Rosey was one of the last students to leave Annapolis High School after PVA on Tuesday. She waited outside of the school, and she stated she saw Mr. Parr and briefly discussed class. Mr. Parr confirmed he talked to Rosey, but she was headed towards the cafeteria entrance. Rosey was also confused as to why Ms. Stout said she saw her. The only teachers she saw was Ms. Van Sicklin, Mr. Parr, and Mr. Schaeffer.

Sofia Coleman Ms. Coleman was the last PVA student to leave the wing at approximately 4:40 PM. She was not taking the PVA bus. Mr. Parr noted that she was in a hurry and did not stick around to talk outside of his room.

Jordan Massey Jordan could not be reached. Further investigation is pending. Note: No one had seen Jordan between 4:30 and 4:45 PM.

Brooke Barnes Brooke was difficult to reach via phone, but she responded around 10:07 PM. She claimed she was watching Scream Queens. Brooke stated that she was getting her photos done with Mrs. Hawkins in the Dance Studio. She voiced that she was not pleased with the photographer’s attitude and let authorities know that she would not be working with him again. Note: The photographer is also a well known paparazzi who works out of New York. He recently sold photos of Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, and Arianna Grande.

Mr. Schaeffer Mr. Schaeffer could not be reached. According to the Department of Homeland security, his passport was scanned at an airport in Cancun, Mexico. Rosey, Jack, and Mr. Parr stated they had seen Mr. Schaeffer around 4:35 PM leaving the school with tons of papers and multiple bags. He mentioned he wouldn’t be back until November. He is quoted saying, “Don’t even bother emailing me. I’m not going to be back until November”.

Jack Morgan Much like Rosey, Jack was confused as to why he was being questioned. He had no recollection of seeing Ms. Stout. Jack did say he spoke with Mr. Parr outside the main entrance. He admitted he was angry with the school’s vending machine as it stole his money and did not give him a drink of water. Mr. Parr suggested trying the teacher’s lounge for a working machine.
