CareerEngage-Who Are We? CareerEngage is a volunteer organization that guides early to mid-career professionals who want to become active participants in managing their own careers and achieving career goals by connecting them with peers, mentors and career management professionals.

CareerEngage-Mission Statement We take a personalized approach towards cultivating relationships between dedicated career professionals, so our members can learn how to build a successful network.

What is Mentoring? A sharing relationship where two people invest time in order to enhance each other’s growth, knowledge and skills.

Overview of Mentoring Program Our mentoring program connects our members with dedicated career professionals. The program is focused on helping mentees and mentors develop their careers, network, share experiences, and provide invaluable professional development guidance.

How are We Different? Our program matches you with career professionals outside your organization that will provide you with: Objective point of view Confidential boundaries Sounding board Outside perspective on career trends in roles and industries Networking contacts

Phases of Mentoring Relationships 1. Build Rapport and Relationship 2. Identify Needs 3. Develop Plans 4. Take Actions 5. Measure Results 6. Give and Receive Feedback

Overview- How Will It Work? CareerEngage will run three cycles of mentoring a year for three months. You and your mentor will determine the logistics for your meetings and frequency. CareerEngage will coordinate a mid-point check-in time with mentor and mentee.

How to Sign up? Email us at CareerEngage.Boston@gmail.com to let us know you are interested. Brief questionnaire will be sent to gather information for mentee matching. CareerEngage Board Member provides an email introduction to each other. Mentee and mentor will make an connection within 48 hours to begin the relationship.
