Saturday morning breakouts FHIR Overview ~30 attendees (15% of connectathon attendees) very well received, lot’s of good questions Testing Tools Review – Touchstone ~40 attendees (20% of connectathon attendees) reviewed the TestScript FHIR resource in detail 9/20/2018

Patient Track Level 2 Introducing a formal (or semi-formal) level of testing to the FHIR connectathon This will provide additional value to organizations that participate in FHIR Connectathon events Formal testing uses testing tools that support and use the FHIR TestScript resources Touchstone by AEGIS Crucible by MITRE 9/20/2018

Lessons Learned TestScript instances in FHIR svn for Patient Track are mature only a couple of minor corrections needed to be made Organizations that worked to pass the tests have now attained a high level of FHIR conformance and can confidently proceed to be interoperable with others using FHIR Found an opportunity to improve MPI patient matching (will be working with PA this week to address) 9/20/2018

Next Steps Continue to mature the TestScript instances for additional connectathon tracks Expand formal testing to other connectathon tracks Improve and formalize TestScript result reporting 9/20/2018
