Private Sector and Community Relationships What approaches are used by private sector and NGOs/CSOs to promote positive relationships between companies and communities? Avoiding and remedying company-community conflicts Have codes of conduct, voluntary commitments and certification schemes helped develop private sector-community engagement? Can regional approaches help?

Protecting Community Rights How to ensure community voices are heard, that people are informed, aware of rights, and able to genuinely benefit from these relationships? What support do companies and communities need? Who can provide it?
